This Privacy Policy explains how Event+ ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our event management platform, including our website, registration forms, ticketing tools, and related services (the "Service").

Event+ provides a SaaS platform for organizers to create events, collect registrations, issue digital tickets, check in attendees, and analyze participation. There are two categories of users whose data we handle:

Organizers — admins, event managers, and staff who sign in to build and run events.
Visitors — people who register for, or attend, events hosted on the platform.

For visitor data submitted through an organizer's registration form, the organizer is the data controller; Event+ acts as a data processor on their behalf.

2. Information We Collect

From Organizers

Account details: name, email, phone, password (stored hashed), organization.
Billing information processed by our payment provider.
Event configuration, form schemas, branding assets, and ticket designs.
Usage logs, device and browser metadata, and IP addresses.

From Visitors

Information you enter into registration forms (for example: name, email, phone, gender, registration type, family count, demographics, and any custom fields the organizer adds).
Check-in records, including timestamps and the entrance at which you were scanned.
Ticket identifiers and QR codes generated for you.
Technical data such as IP address and user agent for security and fraud prevention.

3. How We Use Information

To provide and operate the Service — creating events, issuing tickets, running check-in, generating reports.
To authenticate users and protect accounts.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To communicate service announcements, security alerts, and support messages.
To improve the Service, diagnose issues, and prevent abuse.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where required, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), consent (where you have opted in), and legal obligation.

We do not sell personal information. We share data only as follows:

With the organizer: visitor data submitted to a registration form is shared with the organizer running that event.
Service providers: hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, and similar vendors that process data on our behalf under written agreements.
Legal and safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Organizers may delete event data from their dashboard at any time. After account closure we delete or anonymize remaining data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

We protect data with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and activity logging. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage strong passwords and prompt reporting of any suspicious activity.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Request deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

For data you submitted to a specific event, please contact that event's organizer first. For data we hold as controller, contact us using the details below.

10. International Data Transfers

We may process data in countries other than where you reside. When we do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your information.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
