Terms of Service

Welcome to Event+. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Event+ platform, including our website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Event+ ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, registering for an event, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Event+ is a software-as-a-service platform that helps organizers create, publish, and manage events. Features include event creation, custom registration forms, QR-based ticketing, on-site check-in, visitor analytics, attendance reporting, role-based team access, and integrations with third-party tools.

2. Accounts and Roles

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. The Service supports multiple roles — including Super Admin, Event Manager, and Organizer — each with different permissions. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for ensuring that users you invite comply with these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an organizer account.

3. Subscriptions, Plans, and Billing

Some features are offered under paid subscription plans. Fees, billing cycles, and included limits (such as the number of events, forms, or visitors) are described at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply to the next renewal cycle.

4. Your Content and Event Data

You retain all rights to the content you upload — event descriptions, branding, form fields, visitor submissions, and any exported data ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service.

You are the data controller for visitor and attendee information collected through your forms. You are responsible for providing appropriate notices and lawful bases for collecting and processing that data, including compliance with applicable privacy laws.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to organize events that are illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive.
• Upload malware, attempt to bypass security controls, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without authorization.
• Send unsolicited marketing to visitors collected via the Service.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content without our written consent.
• Infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

6. Tickets, Check-In, and QR Codes

Tickets issued through the Service are digital records that grant entry to a specific event at the discretion of the organizer. We provide the infrastructure to generate and verify tickets, but the organizer is solely responsible for admission decisions, refunds, capacity management, and compliance with any local regulations.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party products (for example, payment providers, email services, or analytics tools). Those products are governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for their availability or behavior.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation — is owned by Event+ and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates a risk to the Service or other users, or if required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Event+ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Event+ is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable law.
